Business-driven architecture
I help organizations rethink how they deliver. Teams and software systems are shaped together around the business. Each part of the product has one team clearly behind it, not handoffs spread across several. We establish shared languages that make multidisciplinary teams more effective. On top of that we add continuous delivery practices that raise quality and cadence while protecting room to experiment.
Getting prototypes to production
A prototype proves the idea works. Production is a different job: the code has to stay reliable and maintainable for real customers. Yours might have come from AI-assisted tooling, or a build that quietly outgrew its origins. I get it production-ready and set a sustainable cadence, a steadier pace now that compounds into consistent, dependable delivery.
Hands-on software engineering
I take on hands-on engineering work and build it the way I would advise any team to: maintainable from the first commit, not a cleanup job waiting to happen. AI-assisted or conventional, whichever the job calls for. A good fit when you need an extra senior pair of hands, or want a hard problem taken off your team's plate.
Fractional engineering leadership
Senior technical leadership for startups and scaleups that need direction before a full-time hire makes sense. I step in as a fractional CTO or VPE, covering engineering strategy, owning architectural decisions, establishing the engineering standards and delivery practices, mentoring, and hiring. For investors and customers, I'm a credible technical counterpart in the room. Steady senior-level technical judgement, for the stretch when it matters most.
